With a striking landscape that reminds one of the Eternal, Varkala is the best place to acquaint oneself to the most sublime pursuit of all- the pursuit of the Ultimate Bliss. For the faithful, Varkala is mapped by pilgrimage spots and the Janardhanaswamy temple also known as the Dakshin Kashi is very important. This is considered Shiva’s city of light and is the centre point of pilgrimage. There is also the spiritual presence of the Sivagri Mutt associated with the social reformer Sri Narayana Guru, who was enlightened .The Sivagri pilgrimage attracts devotees to the Guru’s Samadhi . 4) Ashtanga Yogam starts at 6 am to 9 am we request all to participate for the maximum benefit.
5) Breakfast after the Yogam session, its is recommended to do the Yogam empty stomach.
